“I enjoy when I get to entertain in others homes or in my craft room. Getting friends together to have a fun crafty time means something. Some use Stampin’ as their therapy.”

Ready to get crafty?
That's exactly what Jill Stover helps folks do!
We had a chance to get to know Jill through some Q&A and here's what we learned about how she uses crafts as "therapy":
I work in healthcare. When I’m not working or taking care of my family I love to get creative! I started scrapbooking 20 years ago and began making cards 12 years ago. I loved it so much I decided to get the discount by becoming a demonstrator with Stampin’ Up! I teach crafty classes to anyone that would like to learn.
I originally started classes 8 years ago and had to stop for a few years. I have been back to teaching classes monthly for 4 years.
Stampin’ Up will run its own promotions. I announce that on my Backwoods Stampers Facebook page, by email and text. I also offer a holiday special starting in December.
I do many special events all year long. BOGO sale, bingo, make n takes, Card buffets, Christmas Card “club”, Birthday Bash, Framed Art and more! I have an upcoming event in Littlestown at Ice Cream Ally's Coffee Cafe.
"The best way to help a business is by word of mouth. Please always share about any local business. It’s how we grow!"
Stampin’ Up offers different specials. I announce them on my group Facebook page, Backwoods Stampers, by text and email. There is always a “join my team” special January through March.
My customers love that it is a one stop shop for gettin’ Crafty! They can purchase products from the catalog that all coordinate with each order. If you scrapbook, make hand made cards or homemade crafts we have ya covered! My customers love the options I give at my classes. They can pay for the class or purchase products and the class is free! Knowing that they have a night for themselves to enjoy with others is very important. Meeting new friends is an extra bonus.
I enjoy when I get to entertain in others homes or in my craft room. Getting friends together to have a fun crafty time means something. Some use Stampin’ as their therapy. I love when people approach me and ask for me to come do a private class for them and a few friends.
I would love to start a Scrapbooking club. I’m hoping to add 12 hour retreats and weekend retreats. People would get to create whatever they want and have the chance to do an optional class. I want to do this so we can have a longer time together and get so much more done!
