Tell us about Adams County SPCA‘s mission and purpose.

The Adams County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), is an IRC 501 c-3 non-profit organization that provides shelter and care for lost, abandoned and abused animals, investigates cases of cruelty to animals, recommends the prosecution of persons engaging in animal neglect or cruelty, helps control animal overpopulation and educates the community about spay/neuter programs, animal wellness and safety.

What are your three (3) biggest needs right now? How can the community help?

  3. If you are looking for a new pet, please adopt not buy at a pet store!

What types of local events do you enjoy the most?

Anything to help the animals and people in our community.

Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

We are here to help! If you live in Adams County and need help with feeding your dog or cat we will give you food. If you need help getting them fixed at a lower cost, we will help. If you are looking for a new 4-legged family member please come and see us!
